Fufeng Group (HKEX: 546) is a leading global biotechnology company specializing in fermentation-based products, including food additives, animal nutrition, high-end amino acids, and colloids. Founded in June 1999 and headquartered in Qingdao, China, the company is a major producer of monosodium glutamate (MSG), xanthan gum, and various amino acids like threonine and lysine.
The company is listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and is controlled by Li Xuechun. As of late 2025, it employed approximately 17,000 people and reported annual revenue of approximately RMB 27.9 billion.
