(HLB-acquired former Genofocus in 2024) develops and produces customized industrial enzymes and bio-healthcare materials, including microbiome-enzyme products, using microbial display (surface expression for rapid screening) and recombinant protein expression/secretion (scalable production). Founded 2000-04-01 as Genofocus spin-off; HQ: Techno 1-ro 65, Yuseong-gu, Daejeon, South Korea. Core products: Lactazyme B (lactase/GOS), Katalase (catalase), Proteinase K, plus microbial SOD and several other enzyme platforms. Ownership/stock: HLB Group affiliates acquired 26.48% of Genofocus (KOSDAQ-listed) to gain management control (80B KRW total investment).
