Pakka (formerly Yash Pakka/Yash Papers; founded 1981) develops regenerative food packaging and produces compostable bagasse paper, moulded fiber (compostable) tableware, and food wrap/carry and food service packaging. Core technology uses sugarcane bagasse as feedstock and integrated pulp/paper + chemical recovery + biomass energy to make paper and compostable molded tableware under the CHUK brand. HQ is Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India, with corporate office in Noida, and a Pakka Inc. presence in Portland, Oregon (US). Pakka is publicly listed on NSE (also permitted on BSE). Scale/capacity: three paper machines (39,100 TPA) plus biomass power plants (2.5 MW), chemical recovery (6.0 MT), and production lines for 14.5 TPD compostable tableware; Ayodhya includes a 130 TPD pulp mill. In India, the company planned ~INR 750 crore for Project Jagriti (40,000 tonnes facility) and in Central America Project Kawok in Guatemala (~INR 3,000 crore; 150,000 tonnes) with first phase expected around Oct–Nov 2025/2026 and land/construction started earlier (H1 2025).
