Subjects whose science is biology but whose application sits elsewhere: defence, digital, finance, law, manufacturing, transport, urban, water.
Some subjects are biological in mechanism but land in a sector that is not. A biosensor embedded in a water network, a biomanufactured component inside an industrial supply chain, a biological question that arrives as a legal or insurance problem — the science is the same, the setting is not. This cluster collects them.
