Bio-FDM filaments for 3D printing
Bio-FDM filaments — spools for fused-filament 3D printing wound from bio-based polymers: mostly polylactic acid (PLA) from corn- or sugarcane-starch fermentation, with a growing segment of polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA). The market is a cascade: resin production, then compounding and filament extrusion to application requirements. Contract manufacturing covers resin compounding, filament extrusion and quality control to the customer's specification.
Procurement category: contract manufacturing. Bioecon selects providers and organises the work in this category to the customer's brief. Catalogue-level entry: the specific manufacturer, configuration and specification are determined at the enquiry stage. Price — on request.
