#### Stage 1: Formulation and fill
At end of fermentation, 12% trehalose is dosed into the Herbaspirillum seropedicae broth, which is filled into 10 L HDPE canisters, the headspace purged with sterile nitrogen and the canister sealed.

#### Stage 2: PCM packaging
Canisters are placed in a high-density polyurethane thermo-box; frozen 4°C PCM slabs are arranged around them per a CAD-computed configuration that avoids direct contact (which would cause cold-shock), and a TempTale logger is placed at the geometric centre.

#### Stage 3: Transit and IoT
The shipper loads into a reefer trailer set to 5°C; GPS and temperature stream continuously over cellular, and the dispatcher is alerted if temperature exceeds 8°C, preventing loss of a batch worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.

#### Stage 4: Hub QC and last-mile
At the regional GDP hub the QR/GS1 code is scanned against the cloud; if temperature was breached the lot is quarantined, otherwise it is cross-docked into an isothermal courier van for the last mile to the farm.

#### Stage 5: Farm viability audit
The farmer checks packaging integrity and downloads the temperature log; a mobile qPCR lab runs PMA-qPCR on a canister sample, confirming at least 10⁸ CFU/ml of live bacteria within 2 hours before the sprayer is filled.

#### Stage 6: Field application
The dose is tank-mixed with dechlorinated water (chlorine kills the bacteria) and applied at dusk to avoid UV, using low-pressure below 2 bar nozzles that protect fragile vegetative cells from shear, with results logged to the farm's digital management system.
