1 · What it gives

High-efficiency nitrogen-fixing agents are microbial products that use advanced biotechnology to colonise crops and convert atmospheric nitrogen into nutrients plants can use. They replace or reduce conventional chemical nitrogen fertiliser. The technology is moving from pilot to commercial scale, with demonstration projects started between 2017 and 2025. One source estimates the potential Chinese market at about RMB 28.9 billion, from RMB 15 per mu over 19.29 billion mu of arable land.
